Bahar Beihaghi is a New York City-based actress, born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She earned her MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School, where she trained in Strasberg’s Method.

Her recent credits include Mahshid in Reading Lolita in Tehran, Yelena in Blue Bloods, Salme in Wish You Were Here, and Mrs. Smith in The Bald Soprano. Reading Lolita in Tehran earned Bahar critical acclaim, bringing her the "Special Jury Award for Female Cast" and the "Audience Award for Best Film" at the 2024 Rome Film Festival.

Before moving to the United States, Bahar earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran while simultaneously training in Le Coq techniques at L’ECOLE POINT FIXE. She became a full-time member of the Fanous-e-Honar-e-Pars Theater Company in Tehran, which led to standout international performances as Ismene at the Theater Festival in Dion, Greece, and Medea at Anis Gras, Paris—both of which garnered significant attention in Greece and France.

In New York, Bahar co-founded Peydah, the first Iranian and Iranian American Theater Company, reflecting her commitment to creating space for Iranian voices in the arts. Beyond her acting work, Bahar has served as a movement, acting, and dance instructor, as well as a Farsi-French translator for Fanous and theater schools in France.

Bahar is also passionate about contemporary dance, Flamenco, kickboxing, and boxing. She enjoys singing and teaching Farsi and acting in English, Farsi, and French.

She extends her love and gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support and to the people of Iran, whom she strives to represent through her art.
